Heliwork WA operates 16 helicopters from our bases in Kununurra, Broome, Purnululu National Park, Mitchell River National Park and El Questro. Our aircraft are chosen to suit our remote situation, the needs of our customers and our harsh environment. Our fleet includes 6 seat turbine engine Bell Longrangers, Bell 206B Jetrangers and Robinson R44's. Our mission capabilities include; passenger charter, mining company support, sling work, fire fighting, emergency extraction, search and rescue, aerial geophysical work, low level survey, photography, scenic flights and tailor made itineraries.
We have extensive remote area experience as well as operating flights into major capital cities, towns and communities.
During the Dry season (April to October) we base helicopters at the Mitchell River National Park, Purnululu National Park and El Questro to service tourism and charter requirements in these parts of the Kimberley. At the peak of the dry season, we employ approximately 35 staff.
